Good to know 📝: A contact can only be pushed to a CRM when there is a relationship to a company. If the company does not yet exist in the CRM, the user must first link or create the company before the contact can be pushed.
How to set up the contact push
- Go to Settings → Integrations and connect the CRM integration.

2. "Contacts" tab appears automatically.
3. Configure field mapping in the Contacts tab
4. Default fields (First name, Last name, Email) are pre-enabled; extend as needed.

5. Start pushing contacts manually or via triggers.
Please note: If you are using HubSpot, for step 2, you must connect the secondary HubSpot integration from within the Contacts tab.
To use contact push with HubSpot, you will also need to connect a secondary integration, specifically for contacts. This will be shown in a second tab after you integrate, called 'contacts', as seen below.
How to push Leadinfo contacts
Manual Push
Users can manually push contacts from within a company profile in the Leadinfo inbox.
Flow:
- Navigate to Inbox → Company Profile.
- Locate the desired contact using search/filter options:
- Search by name or job title
- Filter by country
- Filter by department
- Select one or more contacts via the multi-select.

4. Click "Add to {CRM Name}".

5. Confirm the contact push
Automated Push (via Triggers)
Users can automate contact pushes using Leadinfo's trigger system. This requires the use of a Persona (via Persona Builder) or Decision Making Unit filter, in the same way that you choose the persona or DMU for Autopilot.

Please note: A maximum of 5 contacts per company can be pushed using triggers.
You can see all information that has been sent over to the CRM in your sync overview. This will show whether the data has been sent over successfully, or if there are any errors.
GDPR Compliance
-
Documentation and transparency: By enabling the Contact Push feature, your organisation becomes responsible to document the grounds on which data will be processed, and the specific purposes of processing. The transparency obligations under Article 14 GDPR may apply to your organisation. A practical way to address this is to update your privacy statement to inform that visitors' data may be shared with your CRM. For more information on adding Leadinfo to your privacy statement, you can check out our article here.
-
Data scope and minimisation: The only mandatory fields are name and business email address. Other data points are optional and configurable if needed. Enabling additional personal data should be aligned with the documented legal basis and the information transmitted to visitors.
-
Linkage to a company: Contacts can only be pushed when linked to a company in the CRM. There are no "floating" contacts.
-
Audit trail: The sync overview provides a full record of which contacts have been pushed and when, supporting your accountability obligations.
Please note 📝 The content of this article is not legal advice. Leadinfo acts as a data processor, while the customer is the data controller, retaining full control over all personal data. For guidance on GDPR-compliance, please consult your legal team.
