FAQ: How to Bulk Add Zip Codes

Add a long list of zip codes to a segment filter in one go, instead of typing them in one at a time.

Why add zip codes in bulk?

Filtering companies by zip code is especially useful for sales teams that work by region - it lets you divide leads accurately and route them to the right person. If you're covering a whole region, that can mean dozens of zip codes, so adding them one by one isn't practical. Bulk adding does it in a single paste.

Use the 'is any of' rule

Please Note: Bulk adding only works with the 'is any of' rule on the zip code filter. It doesn't work with 'starts with' - that rule only takes a single value, not a pasted list.

Steps:

  1. Go to Segments and open the segment you want to edit (or create a new one).
  2. Add or edit the zip code filter under company information.
  3. Set the rule to 'is any of'.
  4. Paste your full list of zip codes into the field - Leadinfo reads each line or comma-separated value as a separate entry.

Where to get your list of zip codes

  • Already have a list in Excel or an internal tool? Copy it straight from there.
  • No list to hand? Ask an AI tool like Claude or ChatGPT to generate one for the regions you want to cover (for example, "list all German zip codes starting with 7"), then paste the result directly into the field.
