FAQ: Why are my leads stuck in the Autopilot campaign?

It can sometimes happen that you have an active Autopilot campaign, but nothing seems to be happening. Leads might not enter the campaign at all, or they might appear to be stuck in a particular step. If your campaign seems inactive, there are a few key things you can check yourself.

1. Check If leads match your trigger and persona/DMU

The first step is to confirm whether the companies you expect to see in the campaign actually match your trigger and persona (or DMU) settings.

When you create an automation to send leads to a campaign, you need to set up a trigger and link it to a persona or DMU.

For example, you might want to send only companies that have visited a specific product page to a particular Autopilot campaign. If the company meets the trigger criteria, Leadinfo will check whether there are any people within the company that match your selected persona or DMU.

If there is no one within the company that fits the persona or DMU, no contacts will be followed up on, even if the company matched the trigger. This means it is important to review your triggers, DMU, and persona settings carefully to make sure they match the type of companies and contacts you want to target.

2. Check If you have reached your Email or LinkedIn limits

If your triggers, persona, and DMU are all set correctly, the company may enter the Autopilot campaign but still appear inactive. In most cases, this happens because of email or LinkedIn sending limits.

In Leadinfo, you can set daily limits for how many emails or LinkedIn actions can be sent per day from your connected accounts. If these limits are set very low, only a few actions will be executed daily, and the rest of the leads will stay in a queue until they can be followed up again.

It is therefore a good idea to review your settings under Leadinfo Settings → Autopilot and make sure your daily limits are high enough for the number of leads you expect. As a general guideline, many users successfully run with a limit of around 120 emails and 80 LinkedIn actions per day.
