How to invite an external user to install the trackingcode?

Setting up your Leadinfo tracker just got easier and more secure. New trial users can now invite a third party, such as a developer, digital agency, or colleague, to install the tracker directly via the Leadinfo portal.

Previously, trial users had to forward the tracking code by email, which made setup more manual and limited access to our integrations. Now, you can send a secure, temporary login link to someone else, allowing them to complete the installation without needing access to your full account or inbox.

How the installation of the Tracking Code works with an external user

1. Start an Account
After signing up, the primary user can invite a third party (e.g., a developer or colleague) via email. 

 

2. Invitation Sent
The invitee receives an email with a secure link and all the information needed to install the tracker. 


3. Temporary Access
Using the link, the third party logs in to a restricted version of the portal, only the tracker installation page is accessible.


4. Install the Tracker
The tracker can be installed directly from the portal using the provided instructions. The tracker can be set up using one of our direct integrations, or you have the option to manually implement the tracking code yourself.


5. Access Automatically Ends
Once the tracker is successfully installed, a confirmation screen is shown, and the temporary login credentials become invalid.
