Below, we outline the most common factors that may affect your visitor tracking. ### 1. **General low website traffic** A low number of website visitors may be due to general traffic-related issues, such as: - **Limited online visibility** If your website is not well-optimized for search engines (SEO), it may rank lower on Google, making it harder for companies to find you. - **Lack of marketing efforts**  If you are not actively promoting your website through online advertising, social media, or email campaigns, it may result in fewer visitors. - **Industry trends and seasonality** Certain sectors experience fluctuations in website traffic due to, for example, seasonal trends. ### 2. **Issues with the Leadinfo tracker** If your website usually has more visitors, but you notice a sudden drop in Leadinfo, this may be due to problems with the tracking setup: - **The tracker may not be properly installed** Ensure that the Leadinfo tracker is correctly installed and active on your website. If the script has been removed or incorrectly placed, visitors will not be recorded. - **The tracking code is placed behind the cookie banner** When the tracking code is placed behind the cookie banner, a visit is only recorded after the website visitor has accepted cookies. Visitors who do not give consent will therefore not be identified by Leadinfo anymore. - **Cache is still identifying** If you recently implemented or reinstalled the Leadinfo tracker, the cache of the website may still be processing data. This could temporarily delay visitor identification. ### 3. Troubleshooting and resolution steps If you suspect an issue with your Leadinfo tracker, follow these steps: - **Check if the Leadinfo script is installed correctly** You can do this by reviewing your website's source code. Open your browser's developer tools (often accessible via right-click and 'Inspect'), go to the 'Network' tab, type 'LI-' in the search bar, and press 'Command + R' to refresh the page.
