Met een GCLID kan je de conversies via je website doormeten. Het is een koppeling tussen Google Ads en Google Analytics. Daarnaast kan je het gebruiken om offline conversies door te meten. Dus wanneer je via de website een aanvraag binnenkrijgt, en vervolgens komt daar een sales gesprek uit, en uiteindelijk wordt het een deal (offline conversie). Dan kan je d.m.v. een GCLID aan Google laten weten welke conversie uiteindelijk een deal is geworden. Het is een essentieel onderdeel om de prestaties van je Google Ads campagnes te meten, zoals de conversies. De GCLID wordt weergegeven als een lange code in de URL en bevat informatie over de verkeersbron, campagne, advertentiegroep, zoekwoorden, zoekopdracht, tijdstip en trefwoord positionering. **Zo ziet een GCLID eruit in de URL:** [https://miresi-design.nl/?gclid=EAIaIQobChMIjv\_2mc\_8\_QIVFMd3Ch0xLAIyEAQYCyABEgLeCvD\_AzB](https://miresi-design.nl/?gclid=EAIaIQobChMIjv_2mc_8_QIVFMd3Ch0xLAIyEAQYCyABEgLeCvD_AzB) ### **Offline conversies bijhouden via Leadinfo** Offline conversies worden niet direct geregistreerd in Google Ads. Bijvoorbeeld wanneer een bezoeker een offerteaanvraag doet om zijn woning te verkopen (zoals in het voorbeeld hieronder), en na een klant gesprek wordt het deal. Op het moment dat deze aanwezig is wordt deze opgeslagen in de local storage van de browser voor 90 dagen. Dit betekent dat wanneer de websitebezoeker naar een andere pagina navigeert of binnen 90 dagen als nog een conversie doen we via de GCLID de gegevens kunnen ophalen vanuit de local storage. Dit betekent dat de conversie's nog beter gemeten kunnen worden in Google Ads als Google Analytics.
