Dynamic tagging

With Dynamic Tagging, you can automatically update company tags based on visitor behavior, ensuring that each lead always carries the most relevant label.

Sometimes, you may want a company’s tag to change to another one, for example, based on demonstrated interest. Within the Trigger functionality, you can configure your automation so that when a certain tag is assigned, another tag is automatically removed.

Example

  • Trigger 1: Assign the tag “Cold lead” when a visitor stays on the website for less than 30 seconds.

  • Trigger 2: Assign the tag “Warm lead” when a visitor stays between 30 and 60 seconds.

  • Trigger 3: Assign the tag “Hot lead” when a visitor stays longer than 60 seconds and visits, for example, the pricing page.

If a company first visits your website for only 10 seconds, it will receive the “Cold lead” tag.
If the same company visits again later and stays for 45 seconds, you ideally want it to receive the “Warm lead” tag and have the “Cold lead” tag removed.

However, tags are not automatically removed, this must be configured manually within each trigger.

How to set up Dynamic Tagging

Step 1: Go to the trigger functionality in your Leadinfo portal.

Step 2: Open the trigger you want to edit.

Step 3: First, select the tag you want to assign under Actions → Tags → Tag to add.

Step 4: Then, navigate to Actions → Tags → Tag to remove.

Step 5: Select the tag that should be removed when this trigger runs.

By setting this up, only the most recent and relevant tag will remain assigned to each company, keeping your inbox and lead overview clean and organized.
