Display the right language for your Leadbot to visitors
Choose a method to determine the correct language to display for each visitor.
Ensuring that the language used in your Leadbot aligns with that of your visitor is essential for a high conversion. You can achieve this by displaying content in the appropriate language through two methods.
Depending on your preferences and how your website is configured, you can choose the right method that works best for you.
Show the right Leadbot based on the URL
Many websites include language indicators in their URLs, such as leadinfo.com/en/ for English or leadinfo.com/de/ for German. If your website follows this pattern, we recommend displaying the appropriate language based on the URL.
This ensures that the language in your Leadbot aligns with the content your visitors are currently viewing.
Follow the steps below to use this method.
Step 1: Within your Leadbot settings, head to "Conditions"
Step 2: Below Targetting, select "Page URL"
Step 3: Select the condition "contains". Fill out a unique part of the URL that indicates the language of the website. For example, for our German website it would look like the following:
And that's it. Your Leadbot will now appear only on the right pages.
Show the right Leadbot based on the browser language
Show your Leadbot based on the browser language of your website visitor. Allowing to show the language that matches their preference and browser settings.
Step 1: Within your Leadbot settings, head to "Conditions"
Step 2: Below Targetting, select “Browser language”
Step 3: Determine the condition by selecting either "is any of" or "isn't any of".
And that's it. Your Leadbot will now appear only on the right pages.
Please note: If a visitor has selected multiple language in their browser settings, they will be eligible to view multiple forms. Determine what form needs to be shown by adjusting the priority. More info can be found here.
