In this article, we'll explain what you can do with this functionality and how to set up personas step by step within Leadinfo.
What Can I Do with the Persona Functionality?
With the persona feature, you can easily create a filter based on job titles. For instance, you may want to focus on contacts from specific departments, especially if they are your main point of contact or the decision-makers within the organization.
Furthermore, the persona you created can be automatically sent to campaigns via the Autopilot functionality or through Marketo. This allows you to set up automated marketing and follow-up processes based on the job titles of your visitors.
How to Set Up a Persona
You can set up a persona in two ways within Leadinfo:
- Directly from the persona functionality.
- From the trigger functionality.
We will walk through both methods step by step.
Creating a Persona from the Personas Functionality
Step 1: Go to the settings in the Leadinfo portal and select the persona functionality.
Step 2: Click on "Create new persona".
Step 3: Select the desired job title you want to filter by. You can also specify the country where the contact is located. For example, if you're interested in General Managers from the Netherlands, you can choose this option.
You will then see an overview of the personas that meet these criteria.
Step 4: Click "Save".
Step 5: Go to the trigger functionality to further implement your persona.
Step 6: Build a trigger based on relevant criteria. For example, if you want to track which companies have visited your pricing page, you can set up a trigger to capture this behavior. This is a indicator of interest in your product or service.
Step 7: Select the desired action for the trigger. You can choose to automatically send your created persona to an Autopilot campaign or another integration, such as Marketo.
Step 8: Select the persona you just created to use it in the action.
Creating a Persona from the Trigger Functionality
Another way to create a persona is directly from the trigger functionality. Here’s how:
Step 1: Go to the trigger functionality.
Step 2: Build a trigger based on relevant criteria, such as tracking visitors who have been on your pricing page. This can indicate an interest in your pricing and services.
Step 3: Select the desired action, such as "add to a campaign" or sending the data to a tool like Marketo.
Step 4: Click on "Create new persona".
Step 5: Build your persona by selecting the appropriate job title, and you can also choose the country of the contact. You’ll see a summary of the personas that meet these criteria, such as all General Managers in the Netherlands.
Step 6: Click "Save".
