What is a Toast Message?

A toast message is a small, non-intrusive pop-up that appears on the screen to deliver a message to the visitor. It typically contains a short piece of information or feedback related to the visitors recent action. 


Why Use Toast Messages in the Leadbot?

  • Non-intrusive: Unlike modal dialogues or alert boxes, toast messages do not block the user's visit. They appear and disappear smoothly, allowing website visitors to continue their interaction uninterrupted.

How to implement Toast Messages within your template?

Here’s an example of how a toast messages can be implemented on your website. 

In the Leadbot, toast messages can also be used to inform website visitors when they attempt to make contact outside business hours. Below is an example of how a toast message can be implemented to notify that customer service is currently unavailable.

In the Leadbot, you have the option to create a template based on time. By setting up the time parameters under ''conditions'', you can customize the template to only display after working hours. Once this is done, you can input your desired toast message to notify visitors accordingly
