There are several fields available that you can add to the contact form. In this article you will find a brief explanation for each type of field you can add.
1. Name: This is a text field for the name. This is also used in the opening lines of the email communication.
2. E-mail: This is a field that checks whether it is an email address.
3. Phone: This is a field that checks if they are numbers. Possibly you can set a minimum and maximum number of characters yourself.
4. Message: This is a large text field.
5. Text: This is a small text field. This allows you, for example, to request a place of residence or a company name.
6. URL: This is a field to fill in a URL link
7. Amount: This is a field for numbers. Here you can possibly set a minimum and maximum number of characters yourself. This is, for example, for requesting a dimension.
8. Time: This is a field that allows visitors to select a time.
9. Date: This is a field that allows visitors to select a day.
10. Dropdown: This is a field that allows visitors to select a choice via a drop-down menu. You can add multiple choices for your visitors.
11. File upload: With this field you can let visitors upload a file with a request, e.g. a Logo or a CV. It is possible to set which file formats you do and do not want to receive.
12. Selection fields: With these fields you can provide visitors with multiple options, which they can check or uncheck. Here it is possible to select multiple options.
13. Multiple choice buttons: With this field you can give visitors a multiple choice option, of which they can only choose one. E.g. for a yes or no question.
14. Hidden field: With a hidden field you can add extra information to the form, without the visitor seeing this information. This is automatically sent with the application. E.g. what kind of request it concerns.
15. Description: With this field you can add extra information to the form, e.g. an instruction or more context for another field.
